If a cover is inserted between the Hollow Floor Slab and the joist on the surface where the holes of the Hollow Floor Slab and the joists meet, mortar is prevented from entering the hollow floor slabs. Several applications have been made for this purpose, but economy and full success could not be achieved. Now, Styrosan has brought a solution to this problem with the Styrofoam Hollow Floor Slab Covers which it manufactures in its own plants. Thanks to these Hollow Floor Slab Covers, both mortar consumption has been reduced and weight instability caused by the penetration of mortar has been overcome.
